1- COSTIERA SORRENTINA

MASSA LUBRENSE

  • Baia di Ieranto
This beach is nestled between two rocky cliffs and the water is a brilliant blue color. The beach has sand, though it is rocky, similar to most on the Amalfi Coast. It's small but it's just gorgeous and not packed, the only negative would be there is no shade so maybe take something like a sheet to create your own shade. There are no facilities at all here (no toilets or cafe etc). The water depth increases quickly but it is still one of the best beach for swimming.
You must hike to this place from Nerano, about 45 minutes and is not very difficult (though it's possible also to take a boat from Cantone), one hours hike where you will descend to the bay little by little, enjoying the stunning views of Marina del Cantone, Capri, and San Constanzo, the olive trees and the old defense tower overlooking the area.
